I realize that this is abit late, but i am wondering if someone might be williong to hold a skype meeting where they show people how to create a map from scratch.

there are a ton of videos but no real instructions in which order to watch them.
be nice to have a 3 hr meeting and start for create a new map step, and then the steps all the way up to playing the map.

I wish i could help You, but dont have the time right now, to be honest i never knew about editor, i Just did, maked many mistakes, and with the time i learned alot , my first map was Honortown
Start with the easy editor to find your way, dont think to much, Just press the button and see what it can do, after a while you find your way

i have tried, and watched those movies, but when do you do lighting or mesh or whatever... i am a person that if i am instructed to create a map from start to finish.. then i'd would get better and better after each map.
